Beach Days are the Best Days!
Kaisercraft 'Unchartered' collection

Hello all. I am back today to share my latest creations for
using their awesome 'Unchartered Waters' collection.
This is what I have created

I fell in love with the teals in this collection.
I have used the patterned papers and layered them across my page.

I have distressed them and tucked elements into my layers.
I have added some stencilling and splashing onto my page.

I have used quite a few of the stickers and collectables across my page.

Add in some hessian netting.

I love the beachy feel to this.

More close ups

I am really happy with this layout.
I love this pic of my children playing on the beach.

I hope that you like what I have created,
you can find the full instructions for this layout

Until next time!

'Totall Awesome'
Powerful Blooms
Scrap Matrix

Hello all!
I am here today to share some Powerful Blooms inspiration
for this month's awesome challenge over at
Scrap Matrix

I have created a layout.

For this layout I have used the '7 Dots Studio Verano Azul' collection,
I have started with the 'Celadon' page for my base.
I have then used 'Liquitex White Gesso' to paint a brushed area in the centre of my page.

Next I have used my 'Ranger Archival Ink' and 'Paper Artsy ETS31 Stamp Set',
to stamp out these gorgeous flowers.
I have then used my 'Art by Marlene Watercolour Set 2 Whimsy & Bright',
 to paint the flowers.

I have then fussy cut them out to use on my page.

I have then used the watercolours to splash my base page.

I have then used my 'Distress Oxide' in 'Picked Raspberry' & 'Peacock Feathers'
to randomly stamp areas of my page,
with the 'Carabelle Studio Scribbled Leaves & Textured Circles Stamp'
and the 'Art by Marlene Storms Don't Last Stamp Set'.

I have then adhered two of the fussy cut flowers to my page.
I have also adhered a piece of 'Verano Azul - Green Time',
that has been distressed.

I have then used tags from the 'Verano Azul Tags',
that have been distressed and layered over the previous pieces.

I have then distressed and adhered a piece of 'Verano Azul Pureness',
to matt my photo onto.
I have then adhered cardboard to the back of the photo
and adhered the photo to the page.

I have then adhered another 3 of my fussy cut flowers,
layering with foam tape for dimension.

I have then used the 'Verano Azul Die Cut Elements' & 'Element Stickers',
on my page. I have used foam tape for some of them.

I really love how bright and bold these flowers are.

I hope that you like what I have created and
that it inspires you to create something today.

Until next Time!

2Crafty Christmas Cards
Kaisercraft Starry Night

Hello all!

I'm here today to share some 2Crafty Chipboard Christmas
inspiration with you all.

I have created a set of 3 cards.

2Crafty Chipboard used:

I have kept my cards quite simple as I wanted the chipboard pieces
to be the highlight of my cards.

For my first card I have used the 'Peace, Love, Joy' piece,
which I have embossed with an aged gold embossing powder.

I find it a bit difficult photographing gold and missing the reflection.
I have also added some stars from the 'ATC Star & Hearts',
also finished in aged gold.

For my second card I have used one of the 'Wire Stars',
that I have finished in white.
I have then layered the festive piece from the
'Christmas Mini Word Set 1',
finished in aged gold.

I have also used one of the 'Mini Santa's Sleigh Card Pack',
on the bottom half of my card.
Again finished in the aged gold embossing powder.

For my final card, I have used one of the
'Mini Bauble Trees',
which I have embossed in aged gold.
I have then added some tickles to the baubles,
for some sparkle.

To finish, I have again used one of the words from the
'Christmas Mini Word Set 1', finished in aged gold.

I hope that my cards have inspired you to create something today,
maybe you are needing some cards for Christmas?
I have used the Starry Night collection from Kaisercraft.

Until next time!

'Discover'
2Crafty Chipboard

Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you.
This month 2Crafty is sponsoring the
CSI Challenge

I have played along with challenge #302

2Crafty Chipboard used:

I was inspired by the colours and some of the prompts on this challenge.
I have used the stunning new 'Follow Your Heart' collection
from Celebr8.

For this layout I have started with a bit of mixed media to my page.
Some stencilling, stamping and splattering :)

I have used the gorgeous 'Moroccan Tile Panel',
that I have cut up, and used across my page,
layering with the fussy cut elements.

I have left my chipboard raw for this one, as I loved the natural feel.

I have also used some of the hearts from the 'ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars',
scattered across my page.

For my title I have used the 'Discover' chipboard piece,
positioned on my corner cluster.

Perfect for this layout, a photo of my husband and I on our travels.

I hope that you like what I have created,
and that it inspires you to enter the challenge this month.

Until next time!

Powerful Blooms
Building Your Own Blooms
Scrap Matrix

Hello all!
I am here today to share some inspiration with you for our
November Challenge
over at Scrap Matrix

I have created an art journal spread with this theme in mind.

I have started with my 'Dylusions Creative Journal Large', and I am using a double page today.
I have started by painting some areas of 'Paper Artsy Fresco Finish - Granny Smith'.
This was followed by a coat of 'Liquitex White Gesso'.

While the Gesso was still still wet,
I have added some 'Dina Wakely Media Acrylic Paint - Lemon'.
I have used my finger to spread the lemon into the gesso.

Next, I have used a sponge applied some 'Dina Wakely Media Acrylic Paint - Blushing',
through my 'Finnabair Grungy Grid Stencil', in random areas on my page.

More colour is what I needed now,
so I have added some 'Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paint - Eggplant',
again using my finger to smear into the still damp gesso, using up and down motions.

'Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paint - Turquoise',
was the colour that I added to my page next,
again using the same method.

For my next layer I have used some 'Dina Wakley Media Black Gesso',
I have also added in some 'Finnabair Modelling Paste',
that I have smeared and mixed with my finger,
still using the up and down motion.

To start to build my blooms I have used some white cardstock and
I have painted patterns and random shapes using the following paints,
'Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paints in Lemon, Blushing, Eggplant & Turquoise',
along with some
'Paper Artsy Fresco Finish - Granny Smith' and 'Liquitex White Gesso'

I have then used the fabulous 'Carabelle 'Scribbled Leafs & Textured Circles' Stamp Set,
to randomly stamp out leaves and circles all over this cardstock.
I have then fussy cut them all out, ready to assemble my blooms.

I love the different 'leaves', that I have used as petals, to build my blooms.
There are a number of different designs, that you can mix and match and layer,
in soooo many different combinations.

I have built these by adhering the leaves to the back of the circles, overlapping as I go,
all the way around. I then continue with another layer, until I am happy with the bloom.

I have then cut two of these in half,
to use on the edges of my pages.
The other blooms I have arranged over my page,
I have also adhered a few of the leftover petals to my page.

I have then used my 'Dina Wakley Media Collage Word Pack',
to find a quote I like. I have cut them to size and adhered them to my page.
I love that the colour still shows through them as they are on tissue paper.

To finish I have used a black marker
to randomly doodle and outline on my page.

Some more close ups of those beautiful colours and blooms!

I love that 'Eggplant' colour, I think it's my new favourite colour!

I had a lot of fun building the layers of this page,
a bit of finger painting to calm the senses :)

I hope that you like what I have created,
and that it inspires you to create some blooms of your own!
I can't wait to see all the gorgeous entires!

Until next time

Lisa
