Bee Arty

Hello all!

I'm here today to share a new creation with you,
that I created for Bee Arty.
I have been playing with the 'Love & Grace' collection.

I have started with the 'Lucas' paper as my base.
I have added some mixed media, using the
'Scripted A5 Stencil' and some modelling paste.

I have added some stamping using the 'Memories Red Rubber Stamp',
and the 'Geo Grunge Stamp'.

I have also splattered my page,
using a mix of 'Roadbase Colour Spray' and 'Lagoon Colour Spray'.
I have used these to colour some of cut apart elements,
along with 'Gold Shimmer Spray'.

I have fussy cut the elements from the 'Lucinda' paper and 'Heart' paper.
I have used these in among my layers.

I have also used the 'Honeycomb Die' and the 'Sweet Floral Die',
to die-cut some background pieces from white & blue cardstock.

I have added in some flowers in blue & white to match my colour scheme.

I am really happy with this layout.
I am loving those blue tones!

I hope that you like it too!

Until next time!

Lisa xoxo

Scrap Matrix

Hello all!
I am here today
to share an art journal page,
inspired by this month's challenge
at
Scrap Matrix

This is what I have come up with

So I have first started by adding some colour to my page.
I have used the 'Dina Walkey Acrylics in Lemon, Blush, Turquoise & Eggplant'.
I have also used some 'Paper Artsy Fresco Finish Paints in Granny Smith'
I have smeared them thinly across my page.
I have scratched in some patterns to the wet paint.

I have then used the '7 Dots Studio Droplets Stencil'
and 'Ranger Archival Ink in Black' to stencil droplets onto my page.

I have then used an assortment of stamps to stamp out some florals and foliage,
such as the 'Carabelle Studio Scribbled Leafs and Textured Circles',
to build the flowers and foliage.
I have added more on my background with the 'Paper Artsy ETS02' stamps, and the
'7 Dots Studio Northern Night Stamps'

Next, I have started some doodling. I have added some grass to the bottom of my page.

I have added some more doodling to the sides.

This is not what I was aiming for,
a few things didn't work for me on the day, but
I learned a few new things.

I hope you have fun with this challenge, and make your mark on it.

Until next time!!

Lisa xoxo

'Great Memories'
for 2Crafty Chipboard
Australian Brand Highlight

Hello!

I am so proud of the scrapbooking companies that we have here in Australia.
2Crafty Chipboard is one of them,
I support them every chance I can get.

This layout has been created to celebrate our industry here,
and all my products used in my layout are by Australian Brands.

But let's talk more about the chipboard :)
I have used

Mini Title Stick Set 1
Leafy Silhouettes
Lattice Heart Set

A fun, bright and colourful layout.
I have layered my background papers, and added some stencilling,

I have used one of the 'Lattice Heart Set'.
I have used white embossing on each of the pieces,
and then layered them, with a tag from the papers.

I have also used one of the 'Leafy Silhouettes',
again finished with white embossing powder,
and layered among my paper elements.

For my title, I have used one of the new 'Mini Title Stick Set 1',
that I have left raw, as I felt it looked better :),
layered over my floral cluster.

I love how the white heart stands out against the bright colours of the papers.
Another close up :)

I'm really happy with how this page turned out.
Fun, happy and bright, the way my kids SOMETIMES are, hahahaha!

Until next time!

'Par-a-dise'
for Bee Arty

Hello all!
I am here today to share my first post as part of the
Creative Team over at Bee Arty.

Here is my first layout :)
'Par-a-dise'

I have used the gorgeous 'Find Paradise' collection,
designed by Fiona Paltridge, and lots of other goodies!.
Perfect for my holiday pics!

I have used the 'Honey Hive A4 Stencil' and some
'Colour Paste - Blush' to randomly stencil through onto my base page.

I have also used the same Colour Paste to stencil through the 'Drifting Leaves A5 Stencil',
onto white card stock.

I love these drifting leaves! Now to fussy cut them.

I have then used the 'Geo Grunge Clear Stamp Set' and
the 'Memories Red Rubber Stamp Set',
and black ink, to randomly stamp around the stencilled area.

I have fussy cut the florals and foliage from the patterned papers,
to use to start building my layers, as pictured below.

I have also fussy cut the glass.
I have used my stencilled pieces, tucking into my layers,

I have also used the title and sentiment cut from the papers.

I love how this one turned out, perfect tropical feel for my page.
I hope you like what I have created too!

Until next time!

Lisa

'Life is Beautiful'
Native Breeze
Kaisercraft

Hello all!
I have another new creation to share with you,
that I have created for
Kaisercraft
using the gorgeous 'Native Breeze' collection.

I have done a bit of fussy cutting with this one, to build a foliage frame.

Lots of the gorgeous bright florals.

And stunning coloured foliage.

I have built up my layers, adding collectables.

I have matted my photo and adhered it in the centre of the frame.

I hope that you like what I have created.
You can find the full instructions for this layout HERE.

Until next time!

'Breathings of your Heart'
for Scrap Matrix

Hello all!
I'm back today to share some inspiration with you,
for our latest challenge, over at
Scrap Matrix

Ok, so I will start with a confession,
that this is a bit new to me, but I gave it a good try.
I'm not sure how I feel about the finished product lol.

This page is built up of many layers.
I started with a coat of 'Liquitex Gesso' on my page.
I have then applied some 'Black Gesso', with some plastic packaging.

I have roughly applied a mix of 'White Gesso', 'Dina Wakley Acrylic in Turquoise'
and 'Paper Artsy Fresco Finish Turquoise'
I have then used the plastic again to scratch and scrape the still wet paint.

I have then used a couple of my stencils,
The 'Grungy Grid' and 'Hazy Days Chevron' with both the 'Black Gesso'
and 'White Gesso', sometimes a mix of both colours, that I applied with a sponge.

I have added some more colour with a light touch and rubbing of
'Dina Wakley Acrylic in Lemon'

More layers of black applied with plastic. Also the start of some doodling.

Next, some stamping, using my 'AAll & Create #3' stamp and
some 'Distress Ink in Mustard Seed' and 'Ranger Archival Ink in Black'.

Add in some more doodling and some splashes of my left over paints.

To finish I have used some of the 'Dina Wakley Collage Backgrounds' quotes,
and of course some more doodling.

Some more close ups :)

It is growing on me a little.

I hope that this has inspired you to make a mark, and give the challenge a try,
you never know what you'll get in the end!

Until next time!

Lisa
