'Love'
Kaisercraft Amethyst

Hello!
I am back today to share my latest creation for
Kaisercraft

I have used the gorgeous new Amethyst collection to create this.

'Love'

I have framed a piece of 11 x 11" white yardstick with one of the patterned papers.

I have used some of the clear stamps to stamp my background, in Plum & Grape.

I have layered my photo onto a bed of flowers,
fussy cut from the papers.

I have added in a couple of butterflies and collectables foliage.

The sentiment and title are from the Collectable Sentiments.

I hope you like what I have created.

Until next time!

'Illuminate the Dark'
Scrap Matrix

Hello all!
It's Lisa here today with my second share for the month,
where we are celebrating our wonderful artist Tammy!

I am always in love with her bright, fun and whimsical pages!
This is what inspired me to create this art journal page.

With this page, I have started with a nice coat of Gesso for my page.
I have then used some Dina Wakley Acrylic in 'Lemon',
to paint a circle in the centre of my page.
I have then coated the rest of the page in 'Eggplant',
not quite joining the two colours, leaving a white rim.

I have then used the '7 Dots Studio Aspen Trees Stencil' and
'Dina Wakley Acrylic in Turquoise', to stencil over the yellow only.
I have then used the 'Finnabair Grungy Grid Stencil' (still my fave lol),
and black paint, randomly over the edges.

I have then adhered the wings, fussy cut from the '13Arts Journey Stickers',
to the centre of my page.
I have drawn in some zig zags around the edges.

I have then stamped my quote, using the 'Art by Marlene
Storms Don't Last Stamp Set' and Archival Ink.
Finally it was time to add the centrepiece, that gorgeous girl!

I have fussy cut her from the 'Art by Marlene Collage Papers #4',
and adhered her in the centre.
I have then added some movement lines for her wings,
and splattered some white ink around the circle.

I am really happy with how it turned out!
Isn't she gorgeous??

I hope you like her too,
and that she may have inspired you to create today!

Until next time

Lisa xoxo

'Beautiful Soul'
for Bee Arty

Hello all!
I wanted to check in with you all,
hopefully all is good where you are!

I have been busy creating, for Bee Arty
and I have an art journal page to share with you.

'Beautiful Soul'

For this page, I have started with a coat of Heavy White Gesso,
to seal my page. I have then used some of my Colour Sprays,
in Lagoon & Bubblegum, watered down,
on my page. I have moved it around as it dried.

I have then used the Scripted Stencil and modelling paste,
to randomly stencil through to my page.
I have also used the Honey Hive Stencil and Heavy White Gesso,
to stencil onto my page.
A bit of stamping with the Geo Grunge Stamp Set

I have used the Forever Always Stamp Set
to stamp the flower lady onto white cardstock, with black ink.

I have also used the Wildflower Stamp Set, and cut the floral frame in half.
I have then used my Colour Sprays in Lagoon, Saffron,
Bubblegum & Road Base, to colour in the images.

I have then fussy cut them out to use on my page.
I have also fussy cut some bees, tags and the sentiment
from the Love & Grace papers, layered onto my page,
with a piece I have cut with the Honeycomb Die.

I hope that you like what I have created,
I love the bright, fun colours and that gorgeous lady!

Until next time!

'A Fortunate Find'
2Crafty Chipboard

Hello all!
I am here on the blog today to share some inspiration with you.
I have created this layout, for
2 Crafty Chipboard, with a photo of my daughter,
finding her love for all things antique.

There is a touch of blue in this layout hahaha,
well lots of blue :)

I have used one of the gorgeous 'Damask' pieces,
the larger one, that I have embossed in a white finish.

I love how the white pops against the bright blue background.

I have also used one of the 'Flower Doilies',
again embossed in white, in among my layers.

Another piece I have used is one of the 'Georgian Frames',
again finished in white and layered with my fussy cut elements.

This had always been a difficult photo to scrap for me as the blue is so bright,
but I decided to go with it rather than fight it lol

I think I found the perfect mix of papers and chipboard pieces,
I have used the Harmony collection from Mintay Papers.

I hope you like what I have created!

Until next time

Scrap Matrix

Hello all!

This month over at Scrap Matrix ,
we are celebrating and honouring our fabulous
Tammy!

I fall in love with very new piece of art that Tammy creates!
I just love her fabulous use of colour and all the bold awesome layers.

I have created an art journal page inspired by Tammy,
but I really haven't pulled it off lol.

I have started with a coat of
'Dina Wakley Acrylic Paint' in Lemon for a nice bright base.

I have then used my '7Dots Studio Triangles Stencil' and
'Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry' and I have blended through in random areas.

Next, I have used the 'Painterly Flower Stamp' from Art by Marlene,
with Distress Inks in 'Picked Raspberry & Mowed Lawn'.

I have then used some of the stamps from the 'Paper Artsy ETS02 Stamp Set'.
I have used a mis of Distress Inks in 'Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord, Mowed Lawn & Peacock Feathers', for a multi-coloured effect.

To finish I have used some of the '13Arts Journey Word Stickers' and
'13Arts Marta's Small Messages' stickers.

I hope you like what I have created.
It's certainly bright lol

Until next time!

'Journey'
for 2Crafty Chipboard

Hello all!

I have popped in today to share my latest layout with you.
I have created this for 2Crafty Chipboard.

'Journey'

2Crafty Chipboard Products used:

For this layout I have used a recent photo of my daughter.
I wanted to keep all my elements having a natural feel.

I have used one of the hinges from the 'Hinges Pack',
 in among my elements.
I have left my chipboard raw to keep with the feel of the page.

I have also used some of the 'Acorn and Foliage Set',
in among my layers.
I have also used pieces of the 'Moroccan Bits' in the background.

Some forest elements that work well with my chippie pieces.

To finish I have used one of the 'Fine Word Set 3',
that I have layered across my elements, under the photo.

I really love the forestry feel to this page.
Lots of nature elements to pull it all together.

Until next time!!

Capture
for Bee Arty

Hello all!
I hope you are all staying safe?

I want to share a layout that I have created for
Bee Arty.
I have loads of bits and pieces left over from my 'Forever My Always' March kit,
so I have created another layout to inspire you.

'Capture'

For this layout I have used a piece of Navy Cardstock as my base.
I have fussy cut the frame and florals from the 'Heart Beat' paper.

I have adhere the frame to the navy cardstock,
only by the centre, not adhering the edges.

I have then used the 'Jute Trim' from the kit,
cut into pieces, to the sizes of the straight pieces around the frame.

I have then adhered the trim, just under the edge of the cut frame.

Next, I have fussy cut a floral spray from the 'Gentle Heart' paper.
I have also fussy cut the floral from the journal card, from 'Heart & Soul'.

I have layered and adhered these pieces to the bottom left corner of frame.

I have then cut pieces from the 'Heart Beat' & 'Best by Far' papers.
I have layered these into the centre of my page, overlapping floral corner cluster.

I have then fussy cut floral and foliage from the 'Gentle Heart' paper,
and adhered to right side of photo, layering with photo matt.

I have then adhered a final flower to the bottom left corner of photo,
with foam tape, for added dimension.

To finish I have added a simple chipboard title that I already had on hand.

I really love all the gorgeous tones of blue in this collection,
and I couldn't help but get another layout done with it.
Perfectly finishing my daughters Year 12 Formal Album.

I hope that you like what I have created

Until next time!!
