'This Boy'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!
I am here today to share some 2Crafty Chipboard inspiration with you.
I have a layout featuring my son as a baby.

'This Boy'

 2Crafty products:

 'Lattice Leaves'
'This Boy title'
'Whispy Dandelions'
'Foliage Set 13'
'Bush Nut Stems'

I have started with some mixed media for my background page.
I built up my paper layers and then tucked in
 one of the 'Whispy Dandelions'
that I finished with white embossing powder.

I also tucked in one of the branches from 'Foliage Set 13',
also finished with white embossing powder.

I also used one of the 'Lattice Leaves',
which I finished in pale blue to match my papers,
and tucked into the top corner.

On the right side of my page I used another of the
 branches from 'Foliage Set 13'
also embossed in white.

I also used two of the 'Bush Nut Stems',
also finished in pale blue to match my colour scheme.

To finish, I have used another of the
'Lattice Leaves' in pale blue,
and the 'This Boy title',
that I also embossed white.

I hope that you like what I have created.
I will be back soon with some more scrappy inspiration for you.

Until then

Lisa

'So Sweet'
2Crafty Chipboard

Hello all!
I am here today to share some
 2Crafty Chipboard
scrappy inspiration with you.

'So Sweet'

 2Crafty products used:

 'Foliage Set 13'
'Foliage Set 15'
'So Sweet Title'

For this layout, I started with a bit of a mixed media background page.
I used some of the 'Foliage Set 13' and 'Foliage Set 15' pieces,
which I have given a green shimmer finish to.

I used these tucked into my paper layers,
mixing them with some of the
 die-cut elements from my papers.

I also used the 'So Sweet Title',
which I finished with the same green shimmer as the foliage pieces.

I really love how easy these foliage pieces are to use in my layouts,
they add some great texture and are easy to tuck into my papers.

This is one of my favourite photos, with my sweet boy!
I hope that you like what I have created.

Until next time!

Lisa

'Everyday Story'
for 2Crafty Chipboard

 Hello all!
I am here today to share some 2Crafty Chipboard inspiration with you.

'Everyday Story'

2Crafty products used:

'Fine Flower Photo Adornment Set 1'
'Flowering Clusters'
'Everyday Story Title'

For this layout I used one of the 'Flowering Clusters',
which I embossed in white,
and tucked into the corners of my paper layers.

I also used one of the 'Fine Flower Photo Adornment Set 1',
also embossed white,
and adhered down the side of my photo.

For my title, I used the 'Everyday Story Title',
also embossed in white,
and adhered under my photo.

I really loved the soft pink and blue tones of these papers,
and I think the white chipboard
gives it such a fresh feeling.

I hope that you like what I have created,
and that it inspires you to get crafty today.

Until next time!

'Explore, Dream, Discover'
for 2Crafty Chipboard

 Hello all!
Welcome back! I am here today to share my latest creation for
2Crafty Chipboard with you.

Explore, Dream, Discover

2Crafty products used:

'Explore, Dream, Discover Title'
'Mini Dotty Bits'
'Steampunk Chain Clock Cluster'
'Steampunk Gears Small'
'Steampunk Gears Medium'

For this layout, I have used a black background,
as I really wanted the colours to pop on this layout.
So I first got to splashing some colour around ;)

I have used one of the 'Steampunk Chain Clock Cluster',
that I have finished in an ombre
of bright yellow, green and blue paints.

I have also used quite a few of the 'Dotty Bits',
that I have also finished the same way.

And a couple finished in black near the clock.

I also used one of the 'Steampunk Gears Small',
and one of the 'Steampunk Gears Medium',
both finished in the same colours
as the clock and layered for dimension.

To finish, I used the 'Explore, Dream, Discover Title',
again finished in the same ombre yellow, green and blue.

I really love how this layout turned out,
I was hoping to mirror the neon colours in my photo onto my chipboard.
I think it worked out :)

I hope that you like it too.

Until next time!

'Ordinary' Art Journal Page
2Crafty Chipboard

 Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share
some art journal inspiration with you.

'Ordinary'

 2Crafty products used:

 'Thistle'
'Grass Clumps'
'Field Mushrooms'

For this art journal page,
I created my own mixed media background.

Then, I used some of the 'Thistle',
which I cut up and used on either side of my page.
I left these raw to go with the nature theme of my page.

I used one of the 'Field Mushrooms'
as the main focal point for my page,
which I also left raw.

I also used one of the 'Grass Clumps',
which I have coloured the same greens
and browns as my background,
layered over the thistle and mushroom.

I really love the green and brown natural tones to this page
and I am happy with how it turned out.
I hope that you like it too!

Until next time!

'Gypsy Soul'
2Crafty Chipboard

 Hello, 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some chippie goodness with you.
I have created this layout using some of the gorgeous foliage,
a frame, and of course that title!

2Crafty Products used:

For this layout, I have given my page a mixed-media background,
adding some texture.
I have used a couple of the 'Mini Branches',
that I have embossed in a weathered white finish.

I have also used one of the 'Mini Decorative Frame Set 4',
that I have painted in a pale blue and green two-tone finish,
and added to my layers.

Another of the 'Mini Branches'
finished in white, added to my flower cluster.

I have also used the beautiful 'Gypsy Soul' title,
that I have also finished in a two-tone blue and green.

Some close-ups...

I have also used the Grandma's Attic collection from Mintay Papers :)

I think I have a new favourite layout,
although I find that every new layout is my favourite...
until the next one is made!

I hope that you like what I have created!
Until next time

'Steampunk Octopus' inspired by Antonis Tzanidakis
for 2Crafty Chipboard

Hello all!
I am here today to share some inspiration with you.
I was lucky enough to recently attend a mixed media class at Shelley's Land,
with the oh so talented, and hilarious, Antonis Tzanidakis.

I learnt some fabulous techniques and created a gorgeous steampunk seahorse panel.
I have created this octopus panel with the same style and theme
so that I can hang them in my art room.
For this panel, I used some of the fabulous new
2Crafty industrial steampunk designs.

I am so happy with how this turned out that I just had to share it with you all!

2Crafty Products used:

I have used some of the awesome 'Industrial Pipes/Mechanics' that I have painted red,
and then used an antiquing paste to distress.

I have also used some of the 'Steampunk Gears Medium' and 'Steampunk Gears Small',
that I have finished in either red or brown to suit the theme.

I have also used a couple of the 'Giant Gears' to use in my background,
also painted red and distressed.

I have also used some of the 'Industrial Light Bulbs' and 'Industrial Spring Set',
that I have finished with the same technique.

I am in love with these panels and I just love Antonis' style of mixed media,
if you can get to one of his classes I highly recommend it.
I am such a fan girl, that I suggest you don't walk, but run if you can :)
Along with the awesome new industrial designs,
the perfect combination of steampunk.

I hope that you like what I have created.

Until next time!

'Mini Tags'
Scrap Matrix

Hello all!
I am here today to share some
Mini Madness with you,
for this month's challenge for

I have created a couple of mini gift tags.

I have started with a card base, these are only 2.5 x 3.5 inches big.

I have used some of my Dina Wakley Media Acrylics for the base in 'Sand'
I have then added some streaks of the 'Night',
along with some Dylusions paint in 'Cherry Pie'

I have then used some 'Distress Oxide in Peacock Feathers',
stencilled through my 'Prima Checker 12 x 12 Stencil'

Next I have used the 'AAll & Create Stamp #3'
and my 'Archival Ink Pad', to stamp the circles onto my tags.
Then I have used my
'Art Philosophy Oil Pastels- Rustic' to doodle some lines and shapes.

I have then added some torn strips of collage papers, from the
'Art by Marlene Collage Papers #3'

I have then added some pieces of 'White Lace Trim',
that I have stapled onto my tags.

Some more close ups :)

To finish I have added some sentiments using the
'Tim Holtz Label Letters'

And lastly some 'Molossi Crystal Gems'
for a little bit of bling

I don't usually create on this small scale,
but I enjoyed the challenge,
and I am really happy with how they turned out.

I hope that they inspire you to create something mini,
 for this month's challenge.

Until next time!
