'Fun in the Sun'
for 2Crafty Chipboard

 Hello all!
I am here today with a fun beach layout to share with you
that I have created for
2Crafty Chipboard 
Bringing some summer vibes your way. 

 'Fun in the Sun'

 
 
2Crafty products used:
 

 'Thin Rectangle Stacked Frames'
'Travel Icon Set'
'Mini Family Icons'
'Fun with a Sun title'

 
 
For this layout, I used one the polaroid icon from the 'Travel Icons Set', 
which I left raw and layered with elements from my papers. 

 
 
I also used one of the 'Mini Family Icons',
also left raw,
 and layered in a cluster with some of my paper elements 

 
 
I used half of one of the 'Thin Rectangle Stacked Frames',
that I finished in a bright blue to match my papers. 
I have tucked it in among my layers to the left of my photo.

I also used the 'Fun with a Sun title' for my page,
also finished in the same bright blue as the frames,
 and adhered under my photo.

I really love how this one turned out.

'Discover'
2Crafty Chipboard


Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share some inspiration with you.
This month 2Crafty is sponsoring the
CSI Challenge

I have played along with challenge #302 


2Crafty Chipboard used:




I was inspired by the colours and some of the prompts on this challenge.
I have used the stunning new 'Follow Your Heart' collection
from Celebr8.


For this layout I have started with a bit of mixed media to my page.
Some stencilling, stamping and splattering :)


I have used the gorgeous 'Moroccan Tile Panel',
that I have cut up, and used across my page,
layering with the fussy cut elements.


I have left my chipboard raw for this one, as I loved the natural feel.


I have also used some of the hearts from the 'ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars',
scattered across my page. 


For my title I have used the 'Discover' chipboard piece,
positioned on my corner cluster. 


Perfect for this layout, a photo of my husband and I on our travels.


I hope that you like what I have created,
and that it inspires you to enter the challenge this month.

'Artist?' Art Journal Page
for Bad Girls Couture


Hello all!

I have a new Art Journal page to share with you,
 that I have created for

Bad Girls Couture 

This is a page from my 'Park Ave Penthouse Journal'


I have started with a coat of 'Haute Mess White Gesso' and 
then a coat of Haute Mess Acrylic Paint - Last Sin


I have then used a stencil and some 'Haute Mess Clear Gesso' to get a little texture.


I have then used a mandala stencil from Celebra8 Australia
 and 'Haute Mess Molding Paste',
to stencil the mandalas.


I have added some more colour with 
'Haute Mess Acrylic Paints - 'Bye Felicia', 
'Sweet Candy Kisses',
and 'Make it Rain' 


Lastly I have added some stamping and doodling.

'Don't be Afraid to Edit' Art Journal Page


Hello,
 I am here today to share an Art Journal Page that I have created for



I have started with a pink canvas page from my Park Ave Penthouse Journal.
I have given it a coat of 'Clear Gesso'
then used 'Molding Paste' to stencil some patterns that I liked.


I have then adhered some gauze & tissue paper with my 'Matte Gel' Medium,
and then 'Glass Bead Gel' to add some texture.


I have then added some colour, using 'Fallen Angel', 'Distortion', 'Broken Doll',
'C-Note' and 'Bad & Tatted'.
A little bit of stamping


I have added some tags, stapled on.
Some elements from my papers, Word Stickers and chipboard pieces.


Loving the stitching on this page!

'Seeing the World'
Travel Inspiration
for 2Crafty Chipboard


Hello all!
I'm here today to share a travel-themed layout
 that I have created for


'Seeing the World'


I have chosen a black background for this one, 
as I feel that the blue and white pop nicely off the page. 

2Crafty Products Used:




I have used the gorgeous 'Set Sail' collection from
Celebr8.


I have done some splattering to the background and then I have built up my layers. 
I have used some of the 'Fishing Net Bits', that I have embossed white.


I have layered these into my papers.
A photo of my hubby on a boat tour of Hawaii.


I have also used one of the 'Mini Travel Words 1',
that I have finished in metallic blue.


Lastly, I have used the 'Seeing the World' title. 
I have embossed the words in white.

I have used a mix of colours for the countries and metallic blue for the waters. 
I have also backed it onto some of the blue patterned paper.


I have used this in the corner of my page,
with a cluster of embellishments.

Dream Journal
Art Journal Cover


Hello all! 
I am popping in today to share my Art Journal Cover for my Park Ave Penthouse Journal from 

The release of these journals is happening very soon, so exciting.

This is my cover
'Dream Journal'


I have started by using a stencil from Celebr8, and my Haute Mess Molding Paste, 
to stencil a script pattern.


I have added some colour to my journal with my Haute Mess Acrylic Paints


I have also used them to colour this resin frame.


Some stickers from 7 Dots Studio


Lots of bits and pieces


Of course some gorgeous flowers.

Travel Inspiration


Hello! I'm here today to share some  travel inspiration, 

This is a photo of my daughter on a recent cruise.


I first created a bit of a mixed media background using 
Bad Girls Couture Haute Mess Molding Paste and Stencils from Celebr8. 
I then used Haute Mess Acrylic Paints and various inks and mists to add some colour to my page. 


For this layout I have used the 'World Globe',
 that I have painted in a 'Oops My Bad' base colour,
 and I have then lightly sponged over a lighter 'Plastic Angel' colour,
 from Bad Girls Couture.

 I like how the two tones give it a bit more texture and depth. 


I have also used some of the 'Film Strips Tiny',
that I have painted in 'Kiss & Don't Tell' acrylic paint 
to match the colours of my papers.


I have used the Celebr8 Captured Memories Collection.


Lastly I have used a 'Compass', 
that I have painted in peach and mint to match my layout, 
with another of the 'Film Strips Tiny',
for my corner cluster.
