January 2Crafty Share Part One!

Hello ALL!!

Well it's 2017 and for those of you who didn't know,
late last year I was selected to be on the 2017 Design Team for

2Crafty Chipboard!

For my first layout, it had to be a beach photo.
We love the beach, and we are lucky that we are not too far away
to be able to enjoy some of the world's best.
This is Palm Beach down at Currumbin, one of my favourite places!

For this layout I have used some 7Dots Studio Cotton Candy Dreams papers.
I've used these papers to make my own flowers,
I don't have a die or anything so I sat there patiently folding......... for days it seemed LOL

I have cut the hexagon shape out of the papers and raised it with some cardboard
and then raised a few individual hexagons with foam tape.

I have used one of the "Dreamcatchers" that I have embossed in white.
I have then embossed the edges of the feathers in seafoam green, and added some mini pearls.
Scattered pieces of brown inked "Mesh Bits" have been used throughout my layout,
and I have layered an arrow from the "Assorted Arrows", which I have left raw,
on top of one of the hexagons.

From the "Assorted Mini Camera Set"
I have used the cutest little geotag/location marker,
finished in a rough coat of orange to match my papers.
Some muslin and cotton thrown in.

Some more of the "Mesh Bits" and a couple of gorgeous water pebbles.

Some prills for some extra texture.

For my title I have used the "Line Words Summer Border"
I have cut them each to the length I needed.

I have embossed each line word in a separate colour to match my layout,
but to also kind of represent each word.
Orange for the sun, seafoam green for the sea, and fresh clean white for summer,
because I associate those together,
maybe because I wear a lot of white in the heat of summer

 2Crafty Products Used:

"Assorted Mini Camera Set"
"Assorted Arrows"
"Mesh Bits"
"Dreamcatchers"
"Line Words Summer Border"

I hope you have enjoyed my first 2Crafty share,
I can't wait to share some more with you!
I'll pop back in the next few days to share my second layout :)

But the rest of the Design Team is going to have some gorgeous work to share with you all so make sure to keep an eye on the blog.

Lisa xoxo
