'Memories' 2Crafty Chipboard

 
Hello all!
I am here today to share some
 floral steampunk inspiration with you.

I have created this layout for 2Crafty Chipboard,
using the Steampunk Boutique collection from Uniquely Creative.

2Crafty products used:

For this layout, I have used a die-cut gear cluster cut from black cardstock.
I have then used some of the gears from the 'Giant Gears & Cogs',

which I have painted black, and adhered onto the back of the cluster. 

I have then layered gears from the 'Steampunk Gears Medium' and 'Gears',
all painted with black gesso and adhered to the front of some of the gears in the cluster. 

I then used a metallic wax to rub on the cluster, highlighting the gears and some parts of the die-cut.
By adhering the gears to the die-cut, I am able to build up dimension and texture to the cluster. 

I have also used one of the 'Fine Word Set 3' as my title,
which I have painted white and adhered,
layering over my bottom gear cluster. 

To finish I have used one of the 'Geotags', which I have also given the same metallic wax finish.
The wax finish highlights the chipboard pieces really nicely, and
I really like the mix of steampunk gears and pretty florals.

'Happy Life' 2Crafty Chipboard

Hello!
I am back from my break, and I have missed you all.

I am brimming with lots of scrappy ideas,
and this time I have created a layout, featuring a photo of yours truly
(one of the few I don't hate LOL).

I have created this layout for 2Crafty Chipboard

2crafty products used:

For this layout, I have worked with shades of pinks and purples. 

I have used one of the 'Weeping Vines', 

I have first given my chipboard two coats of gesso,
with a sponge for even coverage.

I then used watercolour paints in shades of purple to colour them. 
I have cut this into pieces to use around my page, among my layers.

I have also used one of the 'Edgar Swirls',

next to my photo, using the same colouring technique.
It does take a few layers to get the right mix, but I love the effect.

Some more of the Weeping Vine pieces.

I have also used a couple of the 'ATC Maple Leaves',
that I have given the same effect to, but only to the centres.

I have then used these in among my flower cluster. 

Lastly for my title, I have used one of the 'Mini Title Stick Set 3',
that I have left raw.

'Yesterday' Moody Blues Kit Uniquely Creative

 Hello!
I am just popping in to share my final layout
created with the Moody Blues collection for
Uniquely Creative

I have used the gorgeous Mandala and Flourish Frame dies,
 to help build up my page.

I didn't want to cover too much of that gorgeous base paper!
I have used a photo of my gorgeous family :)

It feels like just yesterday!
