Christening Invitations

Good Morning all... well its still morning in sunny Qld anyway :)

Just wanted to share a few things with you today, have to catch up with all these, so that I can show you the new stuff!! These are some invitations that I made for a friend, for the christening of her beautiful baby boy. Luckily she is a great friend and let me get away with doing anything I wanted!! So I came up with these invitations in the shape of romper overalls!! The buttons and stitching just finish it off I think, ended up making 12 of these for her, and I got to keep one!! Well she couldn't not invite ME to the christening after that could she lol, it was a lovely day and I was also lucky enough to be asked to be the photographer for the day.

Thanks for looking!

OTP Door Signs

Today I am showing you the OTP Door Signs that have scrapped for the bedroom doors of DS & DD.
I found these large MDF letters in the local craft shop. They are 20cm high and 16mm thick, wonderful for making that visual impact.
Riley's door sign has been painted in blue and then has had different ribbons in blue, some rubons and other embellishments. I have then drawn some stitching all the way around the outside of the letter. I have then attached double sided tape to the back of the letter to attach them to the door.

Thank goodness I have one of each as I am lucky to be able to scrap both boys and girls themes. With Brianna's door sign I was able to go all out for the girly side of me. Her 'B' has been painted in a pretty shade of pink to match her room. Then I have used green and pink co ordinating ribbons, being able to wrap them around the letter. The right hand side of the B has been layered with many different sized and hued flowers in pinks and greens, following the shape of the letter. The flowers also have matching brads as their centres.

They really love having these up on their doors to their bedrooms, just personalizes it a bit for them.

Thanks for looking.

Am I Crazy??

Well, today has certainly been interesting. Still getting lots of rain here in not so sunny Queensland. But it did give me a great opportunity to show my neighbours exactly how crazy I am. During a light shower that broke up the downpours, I decided to grab my camera and run around the garden taking pictures of the raindrops around. Now this isn't the first time that I have given my neighbours reason to think I might be a little mad, they often get to see me running around in the rain, usually fertilizing my garden....it seems a great idea at the time lol.
Anyway I managed to get a few good pics of some rain drops so here they are

Sweet Layout

To show a completely different side of Brianna, that she isn't always feral lol. This layout took a long time with all the flowers but definitely worth it.

Wild Child

This is a layout I did a little while back. Graeme manged to catch this shot of Brianna going a little wild while playing.
