'Beautiful'
Lily & Moss
Kaisercraft

Hello again!

I have a new layout to share with you that I have created using the
Lily & Moss collection from
Kaisercraft

I have first created a frame for my page, using black and white cardstock to matt each layer.

I have then used some of the white wood grain frames to build a photo stack,
layering with patterned papers.

I have then adhered lilies up the left side of my photo.

I have added some stickers and layered elements from the collectables.

I hope that you like what I have created with this collection.
You can find the instructions for this layout HERE.

Until next time!

'Hello'
Some Summer Inspiration
Scrap Matrix

Hello all!
I am here today to share some summer feels with you.
I have a layout that I have created with this month's challenge,
over at Scrap Matrix, in mind.

I have gone with some pops of colour to match the balloons in my photo.
First, I used '7 Dots Studio Writer's Block 12 x 12 Burden' paper as my base,
I have used my 'Clear Gesso', to seal my page.

Next, I have used my Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paints in 'Lemon',
'Eggplant', 'Blush' and 'Turquoise',
to splash onto my page.

I have also used the 'Lemon', 'Blush' and 'Turquoise' paints mixed with water,
to colour some of the 'Writer's Block 12 x 12 Tags' and 'Writer's Block Elements'.

Layering the tags along with some ephemera from the
'Idea-ology Expedition Ephemera" pack,
onto my base page. I have also used a piece of the 'Writer's Block 12 x 12 Inkwell'.

I have then added more layers of the tags,
building the colours to add to the black & white of this collection.

I have then adhered my photo,
and a few more of the coloured die cut elements, into my layers.

I have then added one of the Flower Heart Charms,
and layered a '7 Dots Studio Airmail Word Sticker'
using foam tape for dimension.

To finish, I have used one of the flairs from the 'Glass Flair Hello Set',
along with another of the 'Airmail Word Stickers'

I hope that you like my layout with its bright summery pops of colour.
I love that I can bring any colour I want to,
into this collection of black & white.

Until next time!!

Lisa

2Crafty Chipboard

Hello all!

I am here today to share some 2Crafty Chipboard inspiration with you.
I have created a new layout,
Oh Happy Day

2Crafty Products Used:

For this layout I have used a striped paper for my base.
I have distressed, and layered my corner pieces.

I have then used some stamps,
and splatters where my photos stack will be.

For my chipboard I have started with the cacti from the 'Cactus Set',
which I have given a coat of gesso,
and then used my watercolour paints to colour them.
I love the effect of the colours.

I have then used the same green tones,
to colour the 'Summer Leaf Set' foliage.
I have then placed these to help the flow of my page.

To finish, over one of my cactus, I have layered my title,
left raw, from the 'Mini Title Stick Set 4',

These were the perfect pieces for my page and photo.
You can watch the full process video of how I created this below.

Until next time!

Lisa

'Breathe'
Lily & Moss
Kaisercraft

Hello all!
I'm back today to share my latest creation with you.
I have a layout that I have created using the gorgeous
Lily & Moss collection from
Kaisercraft

The challenge given to the design team was to use the tiled papers.
First, I have used the tiles to create a mosaic frame for my page.

I have then fussy cut the larger tiles from the papers,
I have added foam tape to raise them from the page.

I have then mounted my photo into the centre of the page.

I have used some of the collectables, and curios to decorate the tiles.

I have also used some of the stickers.

You can find the full instructions for this layout

Until next time!

Summer Lovin
Scrap Matrix

Hello,
I am here today to share some Summer Lovin'
for this month's challenge!

Well, I don't know about you but I have some definite colours in mind when I think of summer.
These are the colours that I have used in my latest art journal page.

I have created this page in my
'Dylusions Creative Journal - Large'
I have started with a coat of 'Liquitex Gesso', to seal my page.
I have then used some 'Finnabair Light Paste', to
randomly smear over my page with a palette knife.

Once dried I have applied some rough strokes of
'Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paint', in 'Lemon'

Next I have used my '7 Dots Studio Paintchips Hatched Stencil',
and applied 'Distress Ink' in 'Peacock Feathers',
with a 'Blending Tool'

My next step was to add some more colour.
I had the intention of covering a lot of this so I have left it very rough.
I have used more of my 'Dina Wakley Media Acrylic Paints' in
'Eggplant' and 'Blushing' and some
'Paper Artsy Fresco Finish Paint' in 'Granny Smith'.

I have also added some torn pieces of 'Collage Paper #3',
from Art by Marlene.
My next step was to cut the arched windows,
from the black printed collage paper in the
'Dina Wakley Media Collage Papers Background'
and adhered them to my page.

I wanted to soften the edges of the cut windows,
so I have used my Gesso and the paints used earlier,
along with the best tools I have,
my trusty fingers, to smear more paint on my page.

I have then used my 'Carabelle Studio Scribbles Leaves & Textured Circles' stamps,
to stamp the leaf stems, with 'Archival Ink' in black.
I have then also splashed around some
'Dylusions Black Marble' Ink.

Some close ups of the yummy colours and textures.

I have used a couple of the quotes, cut from the
'Dina Wakley Media Collage Papers Background'.

I am in love with these quotes,
they seem to speak to me.

This one is my favourite.

I hope that you like what I have created and it has given you some summer inspiration
to enter this month's challenge.

Until next time!

Lisa

Rainbow New Year
2Crafty Chipboard

Hello all!!!
I hope you all had a great Christmas & New Year.

I am here today to share some inspiration with you.
To start the New Year off I have had some rainbow fun.

'Follow your Heart'

2Crafty Products used:

I have kept this layout quite simple,
well other than cutting all those hearts from the papers by hand lol

I have used the 'Wildflower & Honey' collection
from Vicki Boutin <3 p="">

I have used one of the 'Fern Leaf Set',
which I have left in white, against the rainbow heart.

And one of the 'ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars',
which I left raw.

I have also used one of the 'Elegant Hearts',
again finished in white.

To finish I have used the 'Follow Your Heart' title,
that I have first coated in Gesso, and then used my watercolours
to paint in the same rainbow scheme as my heart.

I hope that you like what I have created,
I am really happy with how this turned out.

Until next time!

Lisa
