'Creative Madness'

Hello all!
This month's challenge over at Scrap Matrix is

I have been inspired by both the colours,
and the segmented circles from the mood board.
This is what I have created

I have started by using my 'Dina Wakley Acrylic Paint' in 'Lemon',
as the base colour for my page.

I love these paints, as they are such a thick good quality paint,
while being liquid enough for you to easily work with.

Next I have used the 'Gin Blossom Stencil' from TCW,

along with some more of the 'Dina Wakley Acrylic Paints',
this time using the 'Blush' colour to sponge through my stencil.
I have then added some doodling to the blossom.

I have then added some strip of 'Art by Marlene Collage Paper #3' to my page,
scrunching and overlapping the pieces.
I have then used the 'AAll & Create #35 Stamp' to add some stamping to my page.

To finish I have used some of the 'Marta's Small Words Stickers',
scattered across my page.

I hope that you like what I have created,
and this it has inspired you to enter into our challenge.

Take care

Lisa xoxo

'To the Moon & Back'
2Crafty Chipboard

Hello all!
There have been lots of girly layout for me lately,
but I really needed a good dose of boyish fun.

'To the Moon & Back'

2Crafty Products used:

I have started by mixing two of my fave papers from this collection.
I love working on a diagonal direction on my page,
so I have cut the papers and adhered them together.

I wanted my chipboard to stand out from the page,
but I also wanted it left raw to add some warmth to the cool coloured papers.

I have used one of the 'Scribble Circles',
to layer my sentiment and stickers onto.
I have then layered this onto a tag from the collection.

I have also used one of the 'Checkerboard Panels',
also left raw, but cut in half, with each piece on either side of my photo.

I have then layered some matching embellishments,
under and on the chipboard, to make it part of my layers.

To finish I have used one of the 'Arrows Funky' in the corner of my page,
following that same diagonal line. I love these arrows, they are all so different.

I hope that you like what I have created,
and that it inspires you to get crafty today.

Until next time!

Lisa

'Be You, Bravely'

Hello all!

I am here to share my latest art journal page with you.
I have created this for Bee Arty

'Be You, Bravely'

I have created this page in my journal,
I have started by using my 'Heavy Gesso' to seal my page.

I have then adhered pieces of the book paper and tissue paper,
left over from my 'Forever my Always' kit.

Up next some stencilling, for this I have used the 'Triangle Spray Stencil',
and 'Snow White Colour Paste'

Now for some colour. I have mixed together some
'Lagoon & Roadbase Colour Sprays',
to make a darker blue.
I have then used a water mister to dampen my page,
and then added some of my colours.

I have then added some stamping to my page using the script,
 from the 'Memories Stamp'
Next I used pieces from the 'Forever my Always papers',
to build up some centre layers.

I have fussy cut the bee from the same papers,
and layered it on a metal embellishment I had on hand.

Some more book paper strips and some word stickers to finish it off.

I am loving the layers of blue, grey and black,
that the sprays have created during mixing.

I hope that you like what I have created this time around.

I have used the following products:

Book & Tissue paper pieces

Until next time!

'Snapshots'
2 Crafty Chipboard

Hello all!
I hope you are all staying safe.

As I can't go anywhere at the moment,
I thought I would revise one of our holidays lol

'Snapshots'

2Crafty Products Used:

For this layout I have started with a mixed media background, some splashes of blue.
I have used some of the 'Tiny Film Strips' on either side of my page, for balance.
I have finished them with a pale blue embossing powder.

Up there I have used one of the 'Geotags'
which I have left raw.

I have also used one of the gorgeous 'Intricate Seahorses',
also finished in pale blue and tucked up next to my layers.

Lastly I have used one of the 'Mini Travel Word Set 1',
snapshots, also finished in the same pale blue finish.

I really love blue and yellow together, it just screams summer to me.
I'm already feeling the cold start here lol

Until next time

Lisa xoxo
