Anna's Kaisercraft Ubud Dreams

Hello all!

I'm here today to share some of the work that I have busily been creating.
I promise I have been, I have so much to share!
2017 is going to be a big year :)

So, for part of my DT Pack from Anna's I received the new

When I first saw this collection I fell in love.
It's full of gorgeous paper designs and mandalas.

Here is what I created

My eyes were instantly drawn to the mosaic tile design paper,
I knew what I wanted to try and do.

I must admit that this layout took awhile to do to get the tile effect
but I think it worked :)

Lots of dimension and different heights in this layout. A pic of my daughter on a trip
to North Stradbroke Island.

The colours were so easy to work with, so fresh and fun! So many elements
to play with from the collectables and the sticker sheet

Everything on this layout is by Kaisercraft, from the papers, to the wooden flourish words,
and the flowers. I love how their ranges have everything you need.

The next layout I made is a pic of my boy in his
cool sunglasses :)

I have used a chevron stencil from Kaisercraft and some modelling paste
for my background.
Then I've splashed some Kaisercraft paints in spearmint & sea breeze.

I have distressed my papers.

So many cool elements to this collection!

 A gorgeous mandala

Lots of layers :)

Oh how I love this boy!

So I think you can see why I liked this collection so much!
Seriously these layouts seemed to just fall together.

I hope I have inspired you a little today :)

I'll be back again soon with lots more to share.
Thank you for your lovely comments,
they are what keeps me smiling!

Until next time

xoxo

Layout & a Process Video

Good day!!
I hope you are all well.
I'm here to share my second layout completed with this month's DT Pack

Some close ups :)

I won't go into details of how I have done this layout
as pictures are better than a thousand words :) and I have a process video.

It's only the second one I have made one so please be gentle as I find my way around a craft desk with a camera :) Its a bit more awkward than I thought!

Alot of times I have no idea of what I'm planning when I start so you get to see the whole process as a layout comes together. I hope you enjoy it!

VIDEO *HERE*

For this layout I have used Carta Bella Metropolitan Girl Papers, Element Sticker Sheet, Ephemera and Enamel Dots. I have also used some Cocoa Vanilla wood veneer shapes, Prima flowers and glitter leaves (I'm telling you I'm obsessed with these).

Don't forget that we have our awesome Facebook Community
where you can ask any questions of
Kylie, Rachael and I about our layouts or methods used.

We are more than happy to answer your questions if we can.
So pop on over and join our wonderful and friendly community,
we'd love to see you there :)

Carta Bella Metropolitan Girl for Anna's

Hello scrappy people!

For this month's DT pack from Anna's Craft Cupboard I got to work with

It was also my daughter's Year 12 Formal, what great timing,
there couldn't be better papers for formal dress photos!
So on that note I have created "Happy"

For this layout I have gotten excited with the background. I have used some blue watercolour paints. Then I have also stamped some flowers and dots embossing medium and then embossed in gold.

I have used some of the amazing papers to layer a base for my photo. I have fussy cut some of the morroccan shapes and sparkle stars from the papers and raised them with foam squares to add more dimension to my layout.

The gorgeous dress sticker and fabulous banner are from the Element Sticker Sheet,
again I have used foam to add dimension. Add to this some cute Ephemera bits,
such as the tags I have used and it just comes together so well.

For my title I have used the Happy from the Cocoa Vanilla wood veneer shapes, which I have also embossed in gold. Add in some Prima Rossibelle flowers, some pretty glitter leaves, druzy stones, gold mica flakes and some Artquest Prills - Baby it's Cold Outside, for the finishing touch.

Following on the theme of school formal, I have also decorated a Fancy Pants InstaAlbum for my daughter to store her photos from formal in. They can easily slide into the sleeves.

I have used Metropolitan Girl papers for the base. I have layered this with the city skyline , sparkle star and string of lights stickers from the Element Sticker Sheet. I have then cut the word Celebrate, and the dresses from the papers and used foam squares to raise my title. Add in some little alphas stickers and some gorgeous enamel dots for that little pop of extra colour!
I'll be back soon to share some more with you very soon.
Until then take care and scrap lots
