One Lazy Sunday

Hello all!

I'm here with a layout that I have created for this month's challenge over at

Canvas Corp Brands

The inspiration was a moodboard,
and some gorgeous creations from the design team!

and the theme is lace and lazy ;)

I loved this moodboard, it had all the right feels!
I would've liked to have done a winter layout,
but as you may know, we don't get much of a winter here in sunny Queensland!
so
This is my take on the #ccbchallenge

I have used a mix of papers, some 7 gypsies old collections and some Architextures.

There is some lace :)
I have also used some Glimmermists splatters on my base.

I LOOOOOVE these tiles, so added some extra dimension for them.

There is some more lace :)

Some gorgeous Prima flowers that just fit perfectly!

And there is the lazy, my daughter and my cat lol,
on one lazy sunday

Anyway, this was a layout that was really just for fun!
I hope you like what I have created.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Lisa xoxo

Mark Maker

Hello again all.

As you may have noticed my blog has had a bit of an update/refresh.
I hope you like the new look and ease of moving from post to post.

I do have a layout to share with you today....
This layout is one that I have created for

This layout is one featuring my son.
I have scrapped this photo before but I love it so much I scrapped it again :)

Mark Maker

For this layout I have used the 'Epilogue 12 x 12 Paper', from the Writer's Block Collection,
as my base.

I have then used the 'Clear Stamps' from both the Hazy Days & Paintchips collections to stamp over my base in colours complimentary to the papers I had chosen. I then used the 'Chevron Stencil' from the Hazy Days collection to ink over my base. Then some splashes of colour :)

I have then used pieces from the Paintchips '12 x 12 Clover Paper' & the '6 x 6 Paper Pad', which I have distressed and then layered.

To build up my layers further I have added some of the '12 x 12 Tags' and '6 x 12 Die Cut Elements' from both the Writer's Block & Paintchips collections.

To finish my layout I have used some of the

And lastly the UmWowStudio Flair Badge from the Paintchips collection.
It was just then some bits and bobs from my stash of goodies.

I really love how this layout turned out, I hope you like it too!

Until next time

New Mini Challenge

Good morning all!

Or evening if you are visiting from the other side the world :)

There is a new Mini Challenge on over at the
This month is challenge is Doilies!

So thee is my take on the challenge....

I have used a few doilies on my layout. There is one from the gorgeous 49 and Market Cottage Life papers, and there is another bought one tucked into the right.

I have used some 7 Dots studio Word stickers.

Lots of fussy cutting for the layers.

There are also two doilies that I used a Paper Rose Doily Die to cut out of white cardstock.

I really love how this one turned out! Don't forget you have until the end of the month to upload your entry into the Facebook Group Album.

Until next time

Hello again all!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!

I hope you are all feeling loved, hugs and kisses from me to all :)

Anyway I'm here today as this month

is the proud sponsor of the

so we designers got to play along with a couple of the challenges.

I played with case file #248

And this is what I came up with

For this layout I have used the new Romance collection by Simple stories.

I have used one of the birds from the 'Bird Set', that I have embossed white.

I have used one of the 'Sharon's Butterflies' that I have embossed in a pearl pink, and I have layered this on one of the 'Foliage Set 1' leafy branches. I have embossed it in a pearl green.

Another of the foliage branches :)

These gorgeous flowers are from Little Birdie Crafts, they are so detailed!
I have fallen in love with this brand!!

I have also used one of the large 'Heart Silhouettes'

And lastly I have used the 'Love Today' piece for my title. This has also been embossed in the shimmery green.

Anyway I hope that you will play along with the challenge.
There are some awesome prizes up for grabs!

Until next time

My Sweetheart

Hello Crafters!

I'm back again today to share with you the third and final layout that I have created
using the gorgeous 49&Market Rusty Autumn Collection
that I received from Anna's Craft Cupboard.

Here is My Sweetheart

This layout is of our gorgeous girl Lucy, who has recently joined our family.
Is there anything cuter than a pug puppy?!
Anyways back to the layout....

As you can see there was lots of fussy cutting happening in my room!
I really wanted to layer these elements up.

There are so many pretty elements in this collection, they all had to be used LOL

I've also used some of the 49&Market 'Jute Cording' on my page.

I didn't use much in the way of embellishments as I wanted the papers to take centre stage.

I hope you have liked the layouts I have created with this range,
and that it may inspire you in someway today.

That's not it from me for the year, I still have little more to share with you!

Until then

Memories

Hello!
As promised I am back to share some more inspiration with you!

This month I have been working with the '49&Market Rusty Autumn Collection'
from Anna's Craft Cupboard

It is a stunning collection to work with and I have had lots of fun fussy cutting.

Here is Memories

For this layout I have started with a double layered and distressed papers for my base.
I have stencilled with modelling paste to add some background dimension.
I have then added splatters in matching colours to the papers.

I have also used some 'Distress Crayons - Metallics' to roughly draw around the edges of my base.
There was lots of cutting up of these papers so that I could use them to add to my layers.

I have also used the 49&Market 'Blossom Blends - Aloe' and 'Seaside Blooms - Sandcastle'

I have also used some of the '49&Market Jute Cording'

I love how you can take these papers and completely change them by cutting out elements.
Lastly to finish off I have used 'Prima Micro Beads in Copper'

I hope you have liked your visit today. Thanks for stopping by!

I'll be back soon with the final layout I have created from this collection.

Butterfly Kisses + Video

Hello all!

I'm back today with a layout and a process video to share with you.
This month I received the gorgeous Rusty Autumn Collection from 49 & Market
from Anna's Craft Cupboard.

The first layout that I created was Butterfly Kisses....

For my base I started with some stencilled modelling paste and lots of splatters.

I have used pieces from the 'Charming', 'Enchanted' and 'Sunflower Delight' papers and
to help build up my layers.

I have also fussy cut elements from the papers to add further to my layout.

I have also used some of the flowers from the 'Blossom Blends - Aloe' to layer up
on the acetate pieces.

I've also added some gauze for more dimension.

I hope you like the first layout I have created from this collection.

There is a process video that you can watch below :)

The amazing papers are great to work with.

I'll be back soon to share some more of the Rusty Autumn Collection with you.

Magical

For my next layout I have

'Magical'

For this layout I have left the majority of my chipboard raw, to help with that beach feel.
I have used Blue Fern Studio's Wanderlust collection.

I have used one of the 'Leafy Shrub Set 1', that I have embossed in two tones of blue.
I have used the word precious from the 'Fine Word Set 2', layered atop the shrub.

I have also used some pieces of the 'Hexagon Clumps', that I have again left raw.

Lastly I have used the word Magical, also from the 'Fine Word Set 2'
